"Advance Australia Fair

The Australian National Anthem is a patriotic song that identifies Australia at home and overseas and is used at official and public ceremonies and sporting and community events.

The anthem has two verses and the chorus. The first verse talks about the beauty of Australia’s land, sea, and nature’s gifts. The second verse talks about the people who have come across the seas to share in the boundless plains of Australia.

The chorus is a call to all Australians to rejoice in their country.
