Why would I archive a course?

As per the 3.80.08 eLearning policy, eLearning course resources and material are held centrally on the centrally supported eLearning system (Blackboard) for the stated time frame.

You can optionally archive a copy of your course to personal or faculty storage as backup or if you wish to keep a copy of the course beyond the stated time frame.

Warning: If an archived course exceeds 4 gigabytes, it cannot be restored to Blackboard at a later date.
