The following desktop recording options are available to staff:

  • Kaltura Capture is available through Learn.UQ (Blackboard) and has the most functionality, student video assignment capabilities and integrates best with Learn.UQ. 
  • Universal Capture is available through the university's lecture recording system, Echo360. 
  • Zoom is the university's video conferencing system which also has desktop recording capabilities. 
  • PowerPoint is available through the Microsoft Office 365 Suite and also has desktop recording capabilities. 

Instructional guides are available for Kaltura Capture, Universal Capture and Zoom. eLearning technical support is provided for Kaltura Capture and Universal Capture, while Zoom and PowerPoint are supported by ITS. The ITaLI eLearning team also delivers a Kaltura Capture workshop and offers individual consultations for Kaltura Capture at your office with an eLearning Educational Advisor through the eLearning Solutions Service.
