Link a Padlet in a Learn.UQ course (Original)

Note: It is recommended that when you embed a Padlet you also include an alternative weblink for access.

1. Access your Padlet dashboard
2. Open the relevant Padlet 
3. Click on SHARE

4. Click on Embed in your blog or your website

5. Click on COPY

6. Access your Learn.UQ course
7. From the Course Menu, select Learning Resources.

8. Click on the Build Content button. 
9. Select Item from the drop-down list

10. Enter an informative title in the Name textbox (e.g. Padlet Activity - Critical Analysis)
11. Click on the 3 dots to expand the text editor.
12. Click on the code < > icon

11. Paste the code into the area (under Source code)
12. Type Open Padlet in browser in a new line
13. Click on the Save button.

14. Highlight Open Padlet in browser. Right click 
15. Click on the Insert/edit link icon.

16. Paste the Padlet web link in the URL textbox.
17. Select New Window from the Open link in... drop-down list.
18. Click on the Save button.

19. Click on the save button.

20. Students will have two ways to access this Padlet: directly from Learn.UQ or using the weblink to open in a new browser
