Students are able to request to view:

  • their examination question paper once,
  • their submitted answers once AND
  • their overall score.

Warning: Ensure all exam Grade Centre columns are hidden to avoid students prematurely viewing any feedback and marks. Refer to the Control the Release of Results guide.

Blackboard test

Make the exam available to all students

  1. Click on the down arrow next to the Final Exam link in the course menu and select Show link from the dropdown list. ​
  2. Edit the Blackboard test and change the following settings. Refer to the Edit Test Options guide.

Display After & Display Until Optional You can optionally set a Display After and Display Until date/time if you only want the exam to be available for a set period of time.

Make the exam available to specific students

  1. Click on the down arrow next to the Final Exam link in the course menu and select Show link from the dropdown list. ​
  2. Edit the Blackboard test and apply the following settings. Refer to the Edit Test Options guide.

Document upload exam (Turnitin assignment)

Make the exam available to all students

  1. Click on the down arrow next to the Final Exam link in the course menu and select Show link from the dropdown list. ​
  2. Click on the down arrow next to the Turnitin assignment link and select Make available from the dropdown list. 
  3. Students will then be able to click on the exam link to view their submitted exam. 

Make the exam available to specific students

  1. Click on the down arrow next to the Final Exam link in the course menu and select Show link from the dropdown list. ​
  2. Apply adaptive release to the Turnitin assignment link to allow for specific students to view the link. Refer to the Release Content / Tools to Selected Students guide. 
  3. Click on the down arrow next to the Turnitin assignment link and select Make available from the dropdown list. 
  4. Those specific students will then be able to click on the exam link to view their submitted exam.
