While the assignment is available to students only the following components of the assignment may be edited:

  • Name
  • Due Date
  • Close Date
  • Availability

To edit the following you will first need to make the assignment unavailable.

  • Options
  • Criteria form
  • Group

Warning: To ensure consistency of results the Options and Criteria form (except for minor typos) should not be edited once students start submitting their evaluations.

Note: If students group membership changes (new students, students changing groups and student withdrawing) after you create the assignment you will need to Sync Group Membership. (Refer Sync Group Membership guide)

Make the assignment unavailable

  1. Hover over the assignment title.
  2. Click on the down arrow button.
  3. Select Edit from the drop down list.

Make the assignment available

  1. Uncheck the Make the Assignment Available checkbox.

Make the assignment available

  1. Click on the Submit button.

Edit the assignment

  1. Hover over the assignment title.
  2. Click on the down arrow button.
  3. Select Edit from the drop down list
  4. Make the required changes.

Submit

  1. Click on the Submit button.
