Buddycheck
Buddycheck is a tool for collecting student responses on the contribution of individual group members in a group project, which can be used
- formatively: to identify dysfunctional groups to allow you to put appropriate support strategies in place) and/or
- summatively: to generate a mark based on students' individual contributions to a group assignment. (Likert option).
Buddycheck is being piloted in Semester 1, 2023, to identify its suitability to replace Group Peer Assessment tool, which is a UQ-developed tool based on Blackboard Building Block technology. The vendor will be decommissioning this technology at the end of 2023, so the tool will be unavailable for use from the beginning of 2024.
If you are not among the pilot group of courses, but would like to test Buddycheck, please email elearningadvisers@uq.edu.au to get access to the test course.
