Order your Semester 2 courses

You can request your Learn.UQ course for Semester 2, 2015 now!

1. Use the online Site Request form located on the Staff tab in Blackboard. This form also allows you to request a copy of course content from a previous semester.

OR

2. Wait for your year 1 to 5 course to be created automatically after you publish your Electronic Course Profile (ECP). In this case, a blank template will be applied to the course and a 'copy' can be requested through the Staff tab mentioned above.

Turnitin blues? 

Can't access Turnitin? Remember, you need to login to the UQ Internet management system to access Turnitin. To do this, visit any external website (i.e. abc.net.au) and if prompted, login.

Embedding YouTube videos

There is a new method for embedding YouTube videos into Learn.UQ. The Mashup method is no longer available. Existing Youtube videos in your Learn.UQ course will continue to work normally.

Refer to the Embed a YouTube video guide for step-by-step instructions. Students should refer to the Ask I.T. Learn.UQ Text Editor guide and scroll to the end of the page to view the Insert a YouTube video instructions.

Reflecting on course readings

Students in Dr Chris Campbell's course reflected on the educational theory covered in the weekly readings and developed their multimedia skills through completing a blog assignment. Chris shares her view on the benefits of blog assignments and tips for managing them. Watch Video (1:46)

Next Blackboard upgrade in July 2015 Inter semester Recess

The next Blackboard upgrade will occur on the first weekend in July 2015. This will be during the Inter Semester Recess on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 July. There are no additional scheduled upgrades until November 2016. We will provide further details though emails, our upgrade webpage, and the ITS eLearning update.
