Overview

The Unavailable Course Report is designed to help schools identify courses that are not yet available to students as required by the policy 3.80.01 Minimum Presence in Blackboard. The Unavailable Course Report is only available to staff.

The report shows courses that meet the following conditions:

  • are associated with a term that is current or begins in 7 days or less
  • have enrolled students
  • have not been made available to enrolled students
  • were generated from the student information system (not manually)

The report has the following limitations:

  • it may contain courses that need to be cancelled or merged with another course
  • it includes postgraduate courses which are not required to have a Learn.UQ (Blackboard) course site i.e. courses with codes XXXX7NNN, for example ITEE7043
  • it is not aware of the date of the first teaching activity, so the exact due date for courses to be available to students is not known

Almost all undergraduate courses should be available Day 1 Week 1 of semester since they have a teaching activity scheduled during that week.

Please email feedback on improving this course to help@elearning.uq.edu.au
