EchoVideo Deep Linking Tool (Ultra)

This guide describes how to link to or embed an Echo360 video into your Blackboard Ultra Course site.

Note: If this is your first time using this tool, you may have to set up your Echo connection to Blackboard. Use this Getting Started guide to help you.

Embed an EchoVideo in an Ultra document

Navigate to the specific Learning Module/Folder where you want to place your Echo video.
Click on Plus button (+) in the desired location within Learning Module/Folder.
Select Create from the drop-down list.
Select Document from the Course Content Items.
Click on Add Content button.
Click on Insert content button and select Content Market from the drop-down list.
Select EchoVideo Deep Linking Tool from the Content Market.
The external tool will automatically open and you will be taken to EchoVideo in a new tab. From the Choose existing Content section select Launch Media Picker.
Note: If you have not previously uploaded your video to EchoVideo, select Upload Media under the Upload Content section and upload your video file.
Locate the desired video using either the search function or scrolling through your videos.
Select your desired video.
Click on the Next button.
Click on the Embed button.
Confirm Display Name and click the Insert button.
Video will be embedded into document.
Add any additional content as required.
Click on the Save button.

Embed an EchoVideo in a Learning Module / Folder

Navigate to the specific Learning Module/Folder where you want to place your Echo video.
Click on Plus button (+) in the desired location within Learning Module/Folder.
Select Content Market from drop-down list.
Select EchoVideo Deep Linking Tool from the Content Market.
The external tool will automatically open and you will be taken to EchoVideo in a new tab. From the Choose existing Content section select Launch Media Picker.

Note: If you have not previously uploaded your video to EchoVideo, select Upload Media under the Upload Content section and upload your video file.

Locate the desired video using either the search function or scrolling through your videos.
Select your desired video.
Click on the Next button.
Click on the Embed button.
You will receive a success message which indicates you can close the tab.
You will need to refresh your page to see your embedded Echovideo.
