Access PadletUQ (Ultra Student)

You may be required to contribute to a padlet as part of an online or in-class course activity. The padlet you are contributing to may be set up to allow access without logging in or it may be set up to require you to login with your UQ Office365 account.

Once you have successfully accessed PadletUQ, you may want to manage your PadletUQ notifications and learn how to contribute to a padlet.

You may also be provided with an individual padlet via a link in your Learn.UQ Ultra course to complete a learning activity. For step-by-step instructions on this process, refer to the Work on a Padlet assignment guide.

Access Padlet via your web browser

No log-in required

Note: Your posts will be displayed anonymously. Therefore, it is recommended you add your name to the title of all posts and comments you contribute to.

Visit the link provided for the activity which will have the format padletuq.padlet.org/username/padlet-name.

Log-in required

Click on the Padlet link (padletuq.padlet.org/username/padlet-name).
The You shall not pass! message will be displayed if you are required to log in to PadletUQ to contribute.
Click on Log in and retry.

Click on the Log in with Microsoft button.

Enter your UQ email address in the format firstname.lastname@uqconnect.edu.au.
Click on the Next button.

Enter your UQ email password.
Note: This is different from your usual UQ login password. You can recover your email password if you forget it.
Click on the Sign in button.

Complete the Multi-factor Authentication step.
Your Padlet home page will be displayed.
Click on the Join a Padlet button.
Paste the Padlet URL (https://padletuq.padlet.org/username/padlet-name) into the textbox.
Click on the Submit button.

You will then be directed to the Padlet.

Access Padlet via the mobile application

Download the Padlet app from the Apple Store or Google Play store.
Click on the Join a padlet button.
Click on either Scan QR Code or Paste URL and follow the prompts to join the padlet.

Log-in required

Download the Padlet app from the Apple Store or Google Play store.
Click on the Log in button.

Click on Log in with Microsoft button.

Enter your UQ email address in the format firstname.lastname@uqconnect.edu.au.
Click on the Next button.

Click on the Sign in button

Complete the Multi-factor Authentication step.
Select the University of Queensland.

Your Padlet homepage will be displayed.
Select the Join button from the navigation bar.
Select either Scan QR Code or Paste URL and follow the prompts to join the padlet.
