    What are alternative formats?

    All students have access to a range of alternative formats which can be downloaded directly from your Learn.UQ course, so you can view course content in the format that best supports your learning. Alternative formats include Audio, Immersive Reader, OCRed PDF, HTML, ePub, BeeLine Reader and Electronic braille.

    Note: Only the Immersive Reader alternative format requires an internet connection.

    For files uploaded directly to the course, the Download Alternative Formats icon will appear next to the title on the Content page.

    For content located natively within a page, click on the title on the Content page first to open the page, then you will find the Download Alternative Formats icon in the top right hand corner.

    Download alternative formats

    1. Click on the Download Alternative Formats icon.
    2. Select the radio button for the alternative format you wish to download. 
    3. Click on the Download button.

    Note: By downloading an alternative format, you agree with the terms of service. Select the Terms of Use link in the download panel to learn more.
