Learn.UQ is used to help deliver UQ courses. You will use it to:

  • view your course materials: lecture notes, recordings, tutorials and other learning resources
  • submit assignments and online quizzes, and view your results
  • collaborate through the discussions, Ed Discussions, Microsoft Teams and Padlet tools.

2. Hardware and software requirements

Use the Chrome or Firefox web browser

Make sure to update your browser and any plug-ins required to use Learn.UQ properly.

Test your browser compatibility

If Learn.UQ is not working properly, test your browser compatibility. 

  1. Log in to Learn.UQ.
  2. Locate the Browser compatibility box on the Welcome page.
  3. Test your browser.

Other useful tips

  • Make sure your computer is stable, reliable and does not have any viruses or spyware.
  • You require a fast and reliable Internet connection - especially when undertaking or submitting assessment items. Do not undertake tests via an unreliable connection.
  • Download the Blackboard app for mobile devices if you wish to use Blackboard on the go. 

Important: You should not use the Blackboard app to complete or submit assessments.
