What is Turnitin Multi-Part Assignment?
Turnitin Multi-Part Assignment functionality allows the submission and optional marking of up to 5 assignment components with different due dates. This functionality could be used for multiple assignment drafts or for an assignment divided into multiple scaffolded parts.
What is happening?
UQ is delivering an early adopters program for Turnitin Multi‑Part Assignment in authentic teaching and assessment contexts to evaluate its suitability for addressing a priority assessment tool gap: process-based long-form assessment integrity.
The vendor is due to release this functionality in July 2026.
This early adopters program is a component of the Lead through Learning Project, AI Tools and Technologies Stream 1 - Assessment Platforms Pilots.
Expressions of Interest
Staff were invited to submit an Expression of Interest to participate in the pilot between 25 May and 5 June 2026.
Semester 2 2026
This early adopters program will be conducted during Semester 2, 2026, with involvement from all faculties.
