Learn.UQ Welcome Page (Original)

The first page display when you access Learn.UQ (Blackboard) is courses.

The Institution Page contains important messages, useful links and information on current and resolved service disruptions.

The Profile page is found in the Welcome Page menu where your name is listed. On the Profile page you can customise your Stream, Email and Push notifications. For step-by-step instructions on updating your notifications, refer to the Learn.UQ Notification Settings guide.

The Activity Stream page provides a list of recent actions in all your courses. Actions are grouped into the categories Important, Today and Recent. Actions list include:

• Instructor added content
• Items ready for marking
• Alerts for students falling behind
• New courses available
• Events added to your course
• Announcements
• Events happening today/soon

The Organisations page contains courses for UQ community groups.

The Calendar page shows assessment dates and users can add events to a personal calendar.

The Messages displays internal course messages and users can message each other. This functionality is not generally used in UQ courses.

The Marks page provides staff access to assessment marking across all their courses.

The Tools page lists tools available to users across all courses.
