Accidental release of Turnitin marks (Ultra)
Marks for a Turnitin assignment may be automatically posted in Gradebook if the feedback release date is set earlier than intended.
It is recommended to carefully check that the feedback release date is set to a date after the official release of results for the Semester before marking begins in Ultra, but if students do get results too early, follow these steps to hide marks from students.
1. Hide the Turnitin submission link from students
To hide results in Gradebook from students, staff will need to hide the Turnitin Submission link. For further information on hiding content from students, refer to the Content visibility guide.
Warning: As this step hides the link from students with an extension, please continue to Step 2 of this guide to provide a link for those students.
Tip: To ensure students are unable to access feedback inside of Turnitin, we also recommend updating the feedback release date to a future date. eLearning recommends a date after the official release of results for the Semester. For further information on editing the Feedback release date, refer to the Edit a Turnitin assignment guide.
