Echo360 Desktop Recording
This guide describes how you can access your Echo360 account to locate your old videos (including those migrated from Kaltura video server), create and share new videos.
Access your Echo360 account
- Navigate to https://echo360.net.au/
- Enter your uq email address in the Email textbox and click the Sign In button.
- From the drop-down list in the Institution textbox select University of Queensland and click the Sign In button.
Create a video

Edit a video

Add the video to your Learn.UQ course site
You can link or embed an Echo360 desktop recording to your Blackboard Course site using EchoVideo Deep Linking tool.
Share a video
The best way to share the videos with your colleagues is using a Collections feature.
Create a Collection
- In your Echo account, click on the Collections button.
- Click on the + Collection button.

- In the Collection title textbox, type the title of the collection.
- (Optionally) in the Collection Description textbox, type the description of the collection.
- Click on the Save button.
Add media to the collection
1, Click on the + Add Media button.
- Search for the required media by typing the media title in the Your Media search bar or by sorting by name.
- Check the check box next to the required media.
- Click on the Done button.
Share the collection
1. In the Membership tab, click on the + Member button.
- In the Select search bar type the name of the required person.
- From the Access level drop-down list, select the access level for that person. The icons below will indicate what capabilities a person with the chosen access will have.
- Click on the Add Member button.
