Feedback release options (Ultra)

What are feedback release options?

Feedback release options allows you to control how students see feedback, scores, and answers once they turn in their test. The following options are available:

Submission View
Automated Question Feedback
Question Scores
Correct Answers

Submission View

This option when turned on allows the student to see their test submission/s. This option must be selected in order to provide the other feedback options.

The following options are available for allowing students to view their submission when the option is checked:

After submission - allows student to view their submission straight after the submission.
After individual mark has been posted - allows student to view their submission after their inidivdual mark has been posted.
After due date - allows student to view their submission after the due date has passed.
After all marks have been posted - allows student to view their submission after all marks have been posted.
Note: Selecting this option will set all other feedback options to "After all marks have been posted".
On specific date - allows students to view their submission on a specific date.
Warning: You can only select one specific date per assessment. If you select "On a specific date" for other settings, the date will default to this specific date.
One time - allows students to view their submission one time only.
Note: When this setting is used, the remaining feedback settings will only have the option to be checked or unchecked.

Automated Question Feedback

This option when turned on allows the student to see any automated feedback that has been added to questions during the setup of the test.

After individual mark has been posted - allows student to view the automated feedback after their inidivdual mark has been posted.
After due date - allows student to view the automated feedback after the due date has passed.
After all marks have been posted - allows student to view the automated feedback after all marks have been posted.
Note: This option will be be selected by default if it was selected for the submission view setting.
On specific date - allows students to view the automated feedback on a specific date.
Warning: You can only select one specific date per assessment. If you select "On a specific date" for other settings, the date will default to this specific date.

Question Scores

This option when turned on allows the student to see scores they received on each question. This setting must be checked on in order to also check the "Show correct answers" option. If you have already checked "Show correct answers" on then "Question scores" will also be checked on.

After individual mark has been posted - allows student to view the scores they received on each question after their inidivdual mark has been posted.
After due date - allows student to view the scores they received on each question after the due date has passed.
After all marks have been posted - allows student to view the scores they received on each question after all marks have been posted.
Note: This option will be be selected by default if it was selected for the submission view setting.
On specific date - allows students to view the scores they received on each question on a specific date.

Correct Answers

This option when turned on allows the student to see the correct answers. It can only be displayed at the same time or after question scores, some settings will be disabled depending on the option selected for "Show question scores".

After individual mark has been posted - allows student to view the correct answers after their inidivdual mark has been posted.
After due date - allows student to view the correct answers after the due date has passed.
After all marks have been posted - allows student to view the correct answers after all marks have been posted.
Note: This option will be be selected by default if it was selected for the submission view setting.
On specific date - allows students to view the correct answers on a specific date.
