Download Universal Capture (Ultra)

You can download Universal Capture through the Software Centre, the Echo360 website, or your Learn account.UQ course.

Download through Software Centre

1. Refer to the Self-installing software on UQ computers guide for download instructions.
2. Refer to the Install the Universal Capture Desktop Application guide for installation instructions.

Download through Echo360 website

1. Go to echo360.net.au
2. Enter your staff email address in the text-field.
3. Click on the SUBMIT button.

4. Select University of Queensland from the dropdown menu.

5. Click on the Sign In button.

6. You might need to go through the authentication steps. Enter your UQ username and password in the text-fields.
7. Click on the LOGIN button.

8. Your Echo360 home page will be displayed.
9. Click on the cog icon.

10. Select Downloads from the dropdown menu.

11. Click on either the Mac Download (Intel or Apple) or  Windows Download link, depending on your device.

12. Select your local drive. 
13. Click on the Save button.
14. Refer to the Install the Universal Capture Desktop Application guide for installation instructions.

Download through Learn.UQ 

1. Access your Learn.UQ course.

2. Access your Course Resources folder in Learn.UQ. 
3. Click on the Lecture Recordings link. This will launch the LTI link.

4. Select the settings cog in the top right of the screen. 
5. Click the Downloads link. 

6.  Click on either the Mac Download (Intel or Apple) or  Windows Download link, depending on your device.

7. Select your local drive. 
8. Click on the Save button.
