Zoom waiting rooms for online assessment and consultations (Ultra)

Zoom invigilation may be considered as an alternative to campus-based oral presentation, online examinations that are using a proctoring service or for virtual consultations with students. 

Waiting rooms can be used to admit students into a pre-meeting room until the host is ready to admit students individually to the main Zoom session. Customised waiting room greetings are a good way to provide meeting participants with information prior to them entering the meeting.

Warning: Enabling the waiting room automatically disables the setting for allowing participants to join before host.
