You can email selected members of a group or select members of a group set.

Make a group available

Each group must be made available before you can email students.

  1. Expand the Users and Groups menu within the Control Panel.
  2. Select Groups from the dropdown menu.

  1. Click on the arrow next to your chosen group or groupset.
  2. Select Edit Group or Edit Group Set Properties from the dropdown menu.

  1. Tick the Yes checkbox for Group is visible to students.
  2. Click on the Submit button.

Email members of a group

  1. Click on the All Groups tab.

  2. Click on the arrow of the required group set.

  3. Select Email Group from the drop down list.

  1. Select the required student/s from the Items to Select list.
  2. Click on the  (right arrow) button.
  3. The student/s will be displayed in the Selected list.
  4. Enter a title for the email in the Subject textbox.
  5. Enter your message in the Message textbox.

  1. Click on the Submit button.

Email members of a group set

  1. Click on the Group Sets Button.
  2. Click on the arrow of the required group set.
  3. Select Email Group Set from the drop down list.

  1. Select the required student/s from the Items to Select list (instructions in the previous page).
  2. Click the right arrow button.
  3. The student/s will be displayed in the Selected Items list.
  4. Enter a title for the email in the Subject textbox.
  5. Enter your message in the Message textbox.
