10. Create a Category

    A category helps identify the columns needed to calculate best X of Y for an assessment item, for example, the assessment#2 Tutorial questions requires Tutorial as the category for all the tutorial columns TUT 2, TUT 4, TUT 6, TUT 8 and TUT 10.

    Create a Category

    Create Tutorials category for the first assignment.

    1. From the Control Panel, select Grade Centre > Full Grade Centre
    2. Click on the Manage button, choose Categories from the drop-down menu
    3. Click on the Create Category button on the top left of the screen
    4. Enter Tutorial into the Name textbox
    5. Click on the Submit button.

    Assign a category to columns

    Assign TUT 2, TUT 4, TUT 6, TUT 8 and TUT 10 with the category Tutorial.

    1. From the Control Panel, select Grade Centre > Full Grade Centre
    2. Click on the Arrow to the right of the TUT 2 title, select Edit Column Information from the drop-down menu
    3.  Select Tutorials from the Category drop-down menu
    4. Click on the Submit button
    5. Repeat the steps for TUT 4, TUT 6, TUT 8 and TUT 10.
